Seaweed Extract Flakes
Seaweed is the main raw material for seaweed extract. The seaweed extract obtained through enzymatic hydrolysis contains abundant natural active substances such as seaweed polysaccharides, oligosaccharides, phenols, betaine, and mannitol. This flake form is produced through concentration and low-temperature shaping. It features good water solubility and low dust, convenient for storage, transportation and formulation, compatible with diverse water-soluble materials as raw material for liquid or solid fertilizer blends.

Description
Seaweed acts as the base raw material for this extract. The seaweed extract produced by enzymatic hydrolysis contains natural constituents such as algal polysaccharides, oligosaccharides, phenols, betaine and mannitol.
The concentrated liquid is processed into flakes via low-temperature forming. It has good water solubility and low dust generation, facilitating storage, transport and formulation. It can be blended with many water-soluble materials and used as raw material for liquid and solid fertilizers.
Specification
Application
- Solid fertilizer formulation, water-soluble fertilizer raw material
- Basal & top dressing for crops, fruits, vegetables, horticulture
- Dissolvable for liquid fertilizer preparation
Function
- Seaweed extract contains multiple plant endogenous signaling compounds including cytokinin and auxin. These compounds participate in biochemical processes associated with root tissue development. It interacts with the uptake pathways of mineral elements within root systems and participates in element translocation to above-ground tissues. It can affect the expression of related genes including nitrate transporter gene NRT1.1, participating in nitrogen absorption and translocation processes within root tissues.
- Components in seaweed extract may interfere with physiological parameters of above-ground tissues, including plant height, leaf count and leaf area. It influences chlorophyll levels and participates in photosynthetic biochemical pathways.
- Cytokinin-like substances within seaweed extract can take part in physiological processes linked to floral and fruit tissue development, and participate in fruit tissue expansion and maturation related biochemical reactions.
- Seaweed extract holds various bioactive components such as betaine, mannitol and proline. These substances participate in biochemical responses under adverse environmental conditions. Under environmental stress conditions, these components can affect soluble sugar concentration and SOD enzyme activity, and mitigate the impact of free radicals on cell membranes. They participate in stress-related biochemical defense pathways, affecting the activity of various enzymes and the concentration of phenolic compounds.
