The Shanghai CAC International Agrochemical Exhibition was first held in 1999 and has undergone 17 sessions of significant development. It has become the world's largest agricultural chemical exhibition and obtained UFI certification in 2012. The CAC2017 exhibition revolves around new normals, new fields, and new opportunities. Through various forms such as exhibitions, professional conferences, and new product and technology releases, it closely follows the pulse of industry development, gathers the essence of industry elites' thinking, and leads the industry to new heights of development with a strategic perspective from a global perspective.

The exhibition is located in five exhibition halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, creating a trade exchange and cooperation platform that integrates pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, non-agricultural drugs, production packaging equipment, plant protection equipment, logistics, consulting, laboratory and supporting services. 1175 companies from 22 countries and regions, compared to the previous exhibition, the number of participating companies in this exhibition has increased by 10%; The exhibition area has reached 62000 square meters, increasing by 15%. Among them, overseas exhibitors covered more than 20 countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, Russia, France, South Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Türkiye, Italy, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, and more than 90 overseas enterprises participated in the exhibition. India, South Korea, Türkiye, Vietnam were all displayed in national exhibition groups, and international attention continued to rise. During the exhibition from March 9th to 11th, nearly 30000 professionals from over 100 countries around the world came to visit and negotiate. During the exhibition, the overseas exhibition group promotion event held by N5 Pavilion, as well as the promotion area for new fertilizer products and technologies, saw a sharp increase in popularity.
